CD Projekt RED inclura enfin le trajet en métro tant attendu à travers Night City

CD Projekt RED will finally include the long-awaited subway ride through Night City

Marcin Momot, director of global communications at CD Projekt, assured in 2023 that CD Projekt RED didn’t plan to add a subway system to Cyberpunk 2077. One of the most anticipated requests from the community seemed to disappear completely, but the Polish developer surprised us.

During the recent REDstreams event, the company announced the arrival of update 2.1 which promised to include a highly requested new feature. Finally, it will be the Night City Area Rapid Transport metro, which we can take on one of its five lines that pass through up to 19 stations throughout the city. We can use this scrolling method as soon as V receives a text message from NCART.

On the other hand, we can also continue listening to music whenever we want thanks to the portable radio introduction , being able to use it in the metro itself or on foot. One of the best features is that it automatically turns off whenever a crucial conversation takes place. In addition, the boss fights have been revised, notably that of Adam Smasher, so it will be much more difficult to defeat the cyborg.

At the same time, these other new developments will also land on December 5 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC plus a ton of details aimed at accessibility:

  • New cars and motorcycles, including the Porsche 911.
  • Possibility of replaying races.
  • More immersive motorcycle driving, being able to throw knives, do wheelies or somersaults.
  • The gangs will be able to come after us after we give the order to fight them.
  • A new road.
