Samsung Galaxy S23s will receive Galaxy AI at the end of March.

In Samsung’s ever-evolving digital world, a new software update promises to transform the use of current smartphones. The next update One UI 6.1 of Samsung, scheduled for next month, will expand revolutionary AI features beyond the latest addition to the family, the Galaxy S24. Owners of the Galaxy S23 series phones – including the S23 FE model – as well as owners of the brand’s latest foldable devices and tablets, will be the lucky beneficiaries of this advancement.

So far, leveraging these AI capabilities – touted for their ability to translate live, to allow generative editing of photos and videos, and to use the functionality Google Circle to Search – was the exclusive prerogative of the Galaxy S24. This software extension, which will be carried out via the One UI 6.1 update, will not only be free for users until 2025, it also represents a giant step towards greater democratization of artificial intelligence in our daily lives mobile.

Among the models that will benefit from this update, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 And Z Flip 5, as well as the tablets of the series Galaxy Tab S9, are part of the list. This initiative is part of Samsung’s ambition to install this AI technology on nearly 100 million phones in 2023, representing an aggressive but promising strategy to bring cutting-edge innovations to a wide audience.

Apart from these AI features, the One UI 6.1 update will bring its share of optimizations, such as lock screen widgets improvements and a new quick sharing functionality, Unified Quick Share. It is undeniable that these improvements, although possibly perfectible in their early stages, offer a multitude of enriching options for consumers.
