With the arrival of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Next December, in theaters, Warner will say goodbye once and for all to the Snyderverse to welcome Gods and Monsters, the first chapter of the new DC directed by James Gunn and Peter Safran which will have Superman as its first major project: Legacy.
Now, after meeting the actors who will star in the film, we have learned from The Hollywood Reporter that actor Skyler Gisondo will be responsible for bringing to life Jimmy Olsen, the humble journalist and one of the best friends of Superman in a city.
But he’s not the only one confirmed for the film. According to several sources from Deadline, Portuguese actress Sara Sampaio will also have a very important role in the film, since she will play Eve Teschmacher, who will be the personal assistant (and possible lover) of Lex Luthor a villain who also recently confirmed the performer who will bring him to life in the film.
James Gunn is gearing things up to begin production next year. Even though the strike affected the film’s shooting, the filmmaker himself confirmed that the release date remained intact. SO, Superman: Legacy will be released in theaters worldwide on July 11, 2025.
